Bearing Bronze
Bearing Bronze Alloys are general purpose bearing alloy possessing good anti-friction properties, ample strength and hardness, adequate ductility and excellent machinability. Bearing Bronze Alloys are for general utility bearings and bushings and which are highly resistant to impact, wear and corrosion. Alloys include C93200, C93600, and C93700.
-
Aluminum Bronze
Aluminum bronzes are most valued for their higher strength and corrosion resistance as compared to other bronze alloys. Commonly used in aerospace landing gear bushings & bearings, valve guides, stems & seats. Also corrosion resistant parts like wear-rings, machine tool parts, worm wheels and guides. Marine applications include propeller hubs, worm gears, shafts and sleeves. Alloys in this family include C95400, C95900, C63000, C95510, C95500.
-
Gear Bronze
A family of different bronze alloys that account for most of the nonferrous gear materials, mainly because of their "wear resistance" characteristics for withstanding a high sliding velocity with a steel worm gear. Alloys in this family include C90300, C90500, and C90700.
-
Manganese Bronze
Manganese bronzes alloys can operate under very high loads and speeds. Besides excellent mechanical qualities, these alloys have good corrosion resistance. Alloys include C86300, C86400, and C86500.
-
Phosphor Bronze
Phosphor Bronzes, or tin bronzes, are alloys containing copper, tin and phosphorous. The addition of tin increases the corrosion resistance and strength of the alloy. Alloys include C51000 and C54400
-
Silicon Bronze
Silicon Bronze offers added strength in conjunction with the self-lubricity of silicon for excellent bearing and load properties. Alloys include C64200.
